Zach Raidart and Raidart Racing had a tumultuous 2020 season with the Wisconsin Wingless Sprint Series to say the least.
Wrecks, part failures, constant gremlins and more plagued the 23z team just one year after the youngster had tallied 17 Top 10’s, 12 Top 5’s and 5 victories with the extremely competitive series. As a result, the Gurnee, IL native was forced to take 2021 off to regroup and rebuild, but now the 23Z car will make a return to the dirt tracks of the Midwest with the Wisconsin Wingless Sprints, running a full 2022 Series Schedule.
“I’m just excited to be back behind the wheel in 2022.” Raidart said. “Our main goal is to chase the 2022 [Wisconsin] Wingless Championship. We’ve got a great car and some great partners on board to try and make that happen.”
The 2022 Wisconsin Wingless Sprints season will primarily take place at the famed Wilmot Raceway, with additional traveling shows at tracks like Angell Park Speedway (Sun Prairie, WI), the Dirt Oval at Route 66 (Joliet, IL), 141 Speedway (Maribel, WI), Sycamore Speedway (Sycamore, IL), the Dodge County Fairgrounds (Beaver Dam, WI), The Plymouth Dirt Track (Plymouth, WI) and Gas City I-69 Speedway (Gas City, IN).
“I’m really looking forward to getting back to Angell Park and all the other tracks on the schedule, including some new places for me and the team.” Raidart said about his 2022 plans. “I have to give a huge thank you to my family for pushing me to get back into the car and pursue my racing dreams, as well as our 2022 partners for their support. It just isn’t possible for us to go out there, have fun and hopefully win some races without them!”

Zach’s season opener will be on April 30th at the Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot Wisconsin, which will also have Non-Sanctioned Winged 410 Sprints, IRA Lightning Sprints, and A Modifieds on the card. Tickets are available at https://www.myracepass.com/events/406806/tickets/ or at the track on Raceday. Live Timing will be available through the My Race Pass app.
