After an impressive Chili Bowl Nationals debut in January, Will Armitage will continue his Indoor Midget season with the Bill Ecker owned team at the Southern Illinois Center in Du Quoin, IL. The Athens, IL native has enjoyed past success at Du Quoin in other disciplines, but this event provides a brand-new challenge as the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midgets will take to the tight indoor track for the Shamrock Classic on March 11th and 12th.
“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to run with Bill Ecker and his team at my first USAC National race.” Armitage said. “It’s going to be a tough race to tackle for my first time with the series, but I think working with Bob Guess and the rest of the team will help us be a threat by the end of the weekend, and I’m ready for the challenge.”
The Shamrock Classic will continue a 2022 season for Armitage that will see the youngster branch out to more National Midget races with USAC and other series, and 410 Wing Sprint Car events around Illinois.

The 6th Running of the Shamrock Classic will take place at the Southern Illinois Center in Du Quoin, Illinois on March 11th and 12th. Tickets are available on the USAC website, and the event will be broadcast LIVE on FloRacing.
