Hunter Pruitt and TW Racecars have parted ways after a long and successful partnership, and the 16-year-old will pilot Hyper Racing chassis from now on. The driver/car combination already made a solid debut at the rain-shortened Terry Sprague Memorial event this past weekend.
“This mid-season shake-up wasn’t expected but I’m excited to move forward with Hyper Chassis and run our own program.” Pruitt said in a statement. “We’ve had success in the past with Hypers so we’ll try to hit as many races as we can to finish out this season and get a feel for the new cars. We’ll see what’s in store for us for the future once we close out the year.”
Pruitt has already packed the stat sheet this year with 2 Feature wins, 6 Top 5’s, and a whopping 19 Top 10’s in just over 20 feature event starts.
The team would like to thank their partners for sticking by them during this change, and look forward to representing them into the future!
