Goldesberry Logs Top 10 at Beaver Dam to Kick Off 2025 Season

Starting a season with simply a clean, solid run is paramount for any driver chasing a points title with a series like the Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprints. Jordan Goldesberry and the Rockstar Energy Drink #65 team did just that this past weekend at Beaver Dam Raceway.

The night didn’t start smoothly, with Goldesberry timing 18th out of 29 cars in Qualifying, but the 2022 IRA Champion rebounded quickly with a 6th to 2nd run in his heat race.

The result meant Goldesberry would line up 11th in the 30 lap Glenn Hepfner Memorial feature event, and the Springfield, IL driver ran a clean and smooth race resulting in a 10th place finish in Round #1 of the 2025 Hopf Farms Bullring Showdown.

“We had decent speed but circumstances with traffic and lack of cautions just didn’t play in our favor.” Goldesberry said. “We’re happy to have kept our nose clean and have a solid night. Wilmot is up next where we’ve had some success in the past so I'm looking forward to getting back there this weekend.”

The IRA tour heads to southern Wisconsin for the Dick Colburn Classic at the birthplace of the series, Wilmot Raceway this Saturday, May 3rd. Tickets are available at irasprints.com/schedules as well as at the track on race day. All 2025 IRA events are broadcast live on FloRacing.
