Cole Tinsley to join Joe B. Miller in Lewis Trucking Chili Bowl lineup

Lewis Trucking of Jackson Inc. will once again be fielding two entries at this year’s Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, OK, and while Joe B. Miller will be a familiar face behind the wheel of the #51B, an event debutant will be piloting the #49.

Cole Tinsley of Cape Girardeau, MO will wheel the #49 King/Toyota during the Chili Bowl Nationals this coming January. Tinsley had a stellar 2024 behind the wheel of a micro sprint, picking up 5 A Main wins including the prestigious Outlaw Nationals at Port City Raceway crossing the line just ahead of his now Chili Bowl teammate Miller. Tinsley rounded out his stat-line with 19 Top 5’s and 26 Top 10’s in just 32 starts.

“Cole is incredibly talented.” Lewis Trucking of Jackson Inc. owner Chris Lewis stated. “Of course, Cole works in Joe B [Miller]’s engine shop so it makes for a great team environment and we’re all excited to see what he can do in a midget.”

Miller was stellar inside the Expo Center last season, picking up a podium in the Winged Outlaw A Main and a 4th place run in Outlaw Non-Wing at the Tulsa Shootout, as well as an 8th place finish in his prelim night feature and a 14th place finish in the B Feature on Chili Bowl Championship Saturday out of 365 entries.

Lewis Trucking of Jackson Inc., Engler Machine & Tool, Finish Line Transportation, Prestige Trucking and Bandit Shox will be on the side of Tinsley’s #49 King Chassis with a Toyota engine under the hood, while Miller will run with Lewis Trucking of Jackson Inc., Engler Machine & Tool, Ealey Bulk Carriers, Precision Plating and Bandit Shox supporting his King Chassis machine. For the second year in a row Miller’s #51B will be powered by the Engler EA Stealth engine.
